Plastering over Artex

Artex was very popular in the 1970 and 1980's, though it's popularity has declined. If you're thinking of a change, then with the right preparation we can transform your ceiling or walls giving it a fresh and modern look ready for paint.

Dry-lining

Lining the walls with plasterboard using dabs of adhesive(dot and dabbing) or fixing to metal or stud partitions,the plaster board can then be plastered (skimmed) or tape and jointed (flushed). Both are a lot quicker and more cost-effective than traditional plastering.

Patching and over boarding

We're here to help , whatever the scale of the task or repair, from a small knock in the wall or patching up a now vacant light fitting, to replacing a ceiling destroyed by a burst pipe or reboarding and restoring the look of an old Victorian ceiling.

Coving

Easy on the eye, and when fitted with our competence and care, it can give any room an elegant lift.

Sound Proofing

With the use of air gaps, the right plasterboard and a little of our expertise we offer the soundest solution for all manner of noise pollution problems.

Damp Proofing

Rendering

We offer a full rendering service ranging from traditional finishes right through to the self coloured renders like krend. All of which offer additional protection to penetrating damp whilst achiving a Prestine finish.
